运用语料库技术,基于文本可读性、语域等理论,以托福阅读文本为参照,本文对2012年考研英语阅读文本的表层难度和深层难度尝试进行评估。从文本的平均长度、词级分布情况、词汇的形符/类符比等数据来看,虽然考研英语阅读文本略高于托福,但是其差异没有达到统计学上的显著意义,因此,两种测试的阅读文本在表层难度上基本没有差异;从文本的用词风格、句子结构特征来看,考研英语阅读和托福阅读文本在语场上都指向自然科学和社会科学题材,在语式上都属正式文体,两者在题材和文体方面的深层难度上基本相同。本研究能在如何应用语料库技术为外语阅读测试的考前难度控制和考后难度评估等方面提供技术和理论上的启示。
Using corpus technology, based on the text readability, register theory and the TOEFL reading text, this paper evaluates the surface difficulty and in-depth difficulty of the English reading texts of PubMed in 2012.
