鞍钢的这台电渣炉,按原设计用五千千伏安单相变压器,可重熔截面在28~35万毫米~2的自耗电极,重熔吨位可达8~13.5吨的扁锭。但初建的电渣炉,经初试生产,将变压器选用8级(最高的级数,110伏),重熔6吨的扁锭时,钢锭表面折痕严重,表面质量极坏,远远满足不了生产上的需要。这充分说明了二次短网中压降太大,直接影响有效功率。原设计的二次短网分布情况如图1。
