上海的过去,曾经是近现代中国的一个缩影;上海的今天,已经成为当代中国社会主义现代化的一个标志.旅游界有这样一句话:看5000年的历史到西安,看100年的中国到上海,看20年的变化到深圳.我在此要加上一句:看近10年的中国巨变,仍然要到上海;看今后15年的发展,可能还是要到上海.上海自90年代以来,无论从城市形态、城市功能,还是从经济增长、社会发展,都有了举世瞩目的进步.目前,上海正在遵循党的十四大、十五大确定的发展方针和战略目标,积极筹划,充分准备,力争在今后5年(“十五”计划期间)和今后15年(2015年规划期间)有一个更大的发展.
