Since the 90s of the last century, with the continuous acceleration of the process of our country’s modernization, a large number of surplus rural labor force began to move to cities on a large scale. However, due to many conditions, many migrant workers are unable to solve the problem of children studying in cities while they are in cities. As a result, they could only choose to leave their children in rural areas and entrust them to grandparents or other relatives to take care of them. Eventually, the separation of migrant workers’ parents and children formed the group of left-behind children in rural areas. In recent years, the problem of left-behind children in rural areas has drawn wide attention from all sectors of society because of its wide scope and great influence, complicated factors of formation and difficulty in solving the problems. The purpose of this survey is to investigate the situation of left-behind children’s learning, living, parent-child relationship, psychology, quality of behavior and their future plans and wishes through self-made questionnaires.
