The outbreak of Ebola virus disease in West Africa has hit hard for the public health system of local and even international communities. The disease itself and many other aspects of its social, public health and medical care have not come to an end due to the gradual control over the outbreak. Thinking about these issues from the perspectives of epidemiology, translational medicine and sociology will be conducive to the scientific formulation of the strategy of “going out” military and medical services.
