Many great writers in history have been poor all their lives. When Cao Xueqin wrote The Dream of Red Mansions, he was too poor to have family porridge, poor Zhu Zizheng had no money to buy food, and died in poverty and disease. These historical pains show that writers can describe their own dilemmas by using “facial blemishes, hair straightening, full of poems and worthless”. The royalties of writers began to become remarkable in the marketization process. Especially in recent years, one after another from the circle broke some writer million worth news. But looking back at history, there are some exciting stories as well.
