Methylthiazide is a benzothiazine psychotropic drug with a side chain of piperidine. Its mutagenesis and cleavage have been studied both in plant and animal families. In terms of genotoxicity, the effect of a chemical on different species may be different. Therefore, in this paper, we investigate the effects of metothiadine on human chromosomes in lymphocyte cultures in humans. This study screened mental patients between 20 and 55 years of age in Hyderabad Intelligence Protection School in India. They received daily doses of 50 to 400 mg of methotadine for a period of 4 weeks.
