1914年农历九月,浙江省立第一师范学校取“吉金乐石”之义,成立课余文艺团体“乐石社”。该社系由学生邱志贞发起,并在校长、教师支持下而成立的研究篆刻的艺术团体,李叔同为主任。乐石社出版《乐石》和《乐石社社友小传》等。“乐石社”有《乐石社简章》十二条:一、本社以研究印学为宗旨;二、赞成本社宗旨得社友介绍者即可入社;三、入社纳入社金一元,月纳捐二角,交本社会计部核收,发给收单为凭;
