工会保险事业是国外工会兴办的企事业中最为成功的方面。一百多年前,英国工人就建立了“友谊社”等互助机构,举办疾病、失业等项互助保险活动。二战后,国外工会兴办保险企事业获得很大发展,成就有目共睹。目前,国外工会兴办的保险企事业对工薪阶层来说发挥着重要作用。在欧美发达国家,相对于法定社会保险来说,工会保险业务对员工的保护力度更大、更有利。
Trade union insurance is the most successful aspect of enterprises and organizations set up by foreign trade unions. Over a hundred years ago, British workers established mutual aid agencies such as “Friendship Society,” and organized cross-insurance activities such as illness and unemployment. After World War II, foreign trade unions to set up insurance companies have made great achievements, achievements for all to see. At present, insurance companies and enterprises set up by foreign trade unions play an important role for the working-class people. In the developed countries in Europe and the United States, the protection of employees in the insurance business of unions is more and more favorable than that of statutory social insurance.
