埃因霍温菲利普实验室探索到了一组既可用于模拟记录又可用于数字记录的可擦除光存储材料。这组新颖材料实际上是添加了少量掺杂的半导体——锑化镓(GaSb)和锑化铟(InSb)。它们被淀积在薄结晶层盘面上。这类新颖化合物具有利用激光能反复记录和擦除信息的特性。
Phillips Lab at Eindhoven has explored a set of erasable optical storage materials that can be used both for analog recording and for digital recording. This group of novel materials is actually doped with a small amount of doped semiconductors - gallium antimonide (GaSb) and indium antimonide (InSb). They are deposited on the thin crystal layer disk surface. These novel compounds have the ability to repeatedly record and erase information using laser light.
