在距2008年北京第29届奥林匹克运动会召开还有100天之际,北京奥运“祥云”火炬开始在中国境内传递,谱写奥运圣火“中国之旅”的崭新篇章:1.9万多名包括56个民族优秀代表的火炬手,将与境外2400名火炬手一起,参与奥运史上人数最多的一次火炬接力;960万平方公里的中华大地,将见证奥运史上传递路线最长、传递范围最广的一次火炬接力;登上海拔8844.43米的世界最高峰珠穆朗玛峰,更将成就奥运史上火炬接力的新高度——这也将是一次史无前例的奥运圣火的和谐之旅、非凡之旅、难忘之旅!
