建立以系统抽样样地调查资料为基础的全省范围内的森林资源管理数据库是一项很有意义的工作,对推动森林资源管理工作的系统化、科学化和现代化有一定促进作用。贵州省林勘院建立的森林资源数据库不但包含的因子项目多,而且可以按照某个自然特定区域为单位进行统计汇总,从而打破了以往只按行政单位如林班、林场、林业局等的统计,从而实现了任意区域范围内的资源统计,以随时满足生产科研的需要,有利于森林资源的动态管理和动态决策。
