北京市密云县在市国营农场局农科所的大力支持下,1982年引种该所选育的杂交新组合一“京白16”,1983年在全县不同地区布点试种,从试种结果来看,该组合主要有以下优点: 1.植株较矮(230—240厘米),穗位较低(80—100厘米),比“京杂6号”降低一尺左右。株型紧凑,叶比较窄,下平展上直立,透光好,在高密度下表现秆硬抗倒。
