In elementary and secondary schools in the United States, almost every class is portraying the American flag and the portrait of the U.S. president. Every day’s classes revolve around the idea of instilling patriotism and loyalty in the country. However, when teaching basic values such as patriotism, they start with the country’s smallest cells, families and communities, and educate their children to love the country in a shallow way. I have a syllabus for “social subjects” in primary and secondary schools in the United States, and social studies courses are designed to educate students about American spiritual and civic awareness. The subject accounts for a large proportion of young people studying. Preschool education in kindergarten has been teaching for 12 academic years (equivalent to the third year of senior high school in our country).
