2014年4月22日至24日,以“资本主义的未来?”为主题的第四届“中英马克思主义美学双边论坛”在英国切斯特大学(Chester University)顺利召开。为欢迎来自中国的学者,切斯特大学在整个会议的三天时间里都升起了中国国旗。来自曼彻斯特大学、切斯特大学、华威大学、伦敦大学哥德斯密斯学院、国王学院、玛丽皇后学院、杜伦大学、利兹大学、Tate艺术馆以及澳大利亚莫纳什大学等22位国外学者参加了会议。中国有来自上海交通大学、中国社科院、中国艺术研究院、上海社科院、中国传媒大学、华东师范大学、安徽大学、汕头大学、湛江师 The Fourth Sino-British Marxist Aesthetic Bilateral Forum on the theme “The Future of Capitalism” was successfully held from 22 to 24 April 2014 at Chester University in the United Kingdom. To welcome scholars from China, Chester University raised the Chinese national flag throughout the three days of the conference. 22 foreign scholars from Manchester University, Chester University, University of Warwick, Gothic School of London, King’s College, Queen Mary, Durham, University of Leeds, Tate Museum of Art and Monash University of Australia participated in the conference .
