2005年10月30日,北京金港汽车公园,赛车运动的激情被东风雪铁龙的活力彻底点燃。在东风雪铁龙汽车运动庆功酒会上,中国汽车运动联合会副主席陈学众先生亲临现场,公布成绩后,面对正沉浸在一片喜悦中的厂商和车队代表说:“感谢东风雪铁龙,正是你们的不懈努力,让中国的赛车运动充满活力!”在陈主席的这番感言前,东风雪铁龙刚刚收获了在2005汽车运动中的又一项桂冠:驾驶东风雪铁龙富康出战的海淀驾校车队在2005全国汽车场地锦标赛中以一分优势险胜最强劲对手上海大众333 车队,摘得本赛季年度厂商积分总冠军, 同时海驾名将王少峰夺得车手年度总冠军,周勇夺得年度车手季军,而在更早些时候结束的全国汽车拉力锦标赛中,同样驾驶东风雪铁龙富康出战的武汉天欣花园车队一路凯歌,夺得年度S2组厂商积分总冠军和车手总冠军。接踵而来的胜利,令全心投入赛车运动的东风雪铁龙欣喜异常,东风雪铁龙副总经理袁纲先生在庆功酒会上的喜悦溢于言表:“今年1-9 月,东风雪铁龙实现销售近7.7万台,同比增长24.6%,而我们今年在汽车运动方面也同样表现出色,这使我们更加坚信: 东风雪铁龙和东风雪铁龙的产品同样经受得住各种极限的考验!”
