现代神经成像技术能早期对脑水肿做出诊断,区分局限性和弥漫性脑水肿,而对两者引起的压迫症状的治疗是不完全相同的。同时,依靠电子计算机体层扫描(CT)也可同时显示各种不同的脑疝综合征而不会给病人带来任何危险。已证实主要有3型脑水肿:血管源性、细胞毒性和间质性。过去需待尸检才能证实,现在只需CT扫描即可诊断。有些疾病如脑膜炎、外伤、缺血性脑梗塞可同时引起几种不同类型的脑水肿,也可在CT反映出来。本文仅就脑水肿的CT所见进行阐述,核磁共振成像对脑水肿亦极有帮助,但未包括在内。脑水肿或称脑肿胀是由于脑内水分增加导致继发性脑容积增加所致。Stewart-Wallace
Modern neuroimaging can diagnose cerebral edema at an early stage, distinguishing between limitations and diffuse cerebral edema, which are not exactly the same for the treatment of oppression symptoms caused by both. This article only on CT findings of cerebral edema described, MRI is also very helpful for brain edema, but not included.
