对话剧演出样式多样化的不断探索,使改革开放以来的话剧和戏曲舞台奇葩迭放,繁花似锦。旧的单一观演模式和传统审美规范被一次次的革新拓展。在近些年的话剧、戏曲舞台上连续出现了一系列富于创新意识的优秀剧目。对演出样式持续地大胆探索和试验,为戏剧发展拓宽了道路,带来了新气象。而在这种不竭地追求探索中,主要开拓力量是戏剧导演,以及在这一探索实践中实际形成的“导演中心制”。演出多样化的发展与导演艺术的长足发展紧密地联系在了一起。
