中国小球优势渐失回首四、五月,重大赛事当首推世界乒乓球锦标赛和苏迪曼杯世界羽毛球团体赛及世界羽毛球锦标赛世界乒乓球锦标赛于4月26日至5月6日在日本千叶举行,瑞典男队和朝鲜联队女队分获男女团体冠军,中国男女队表现则未尽如人意。中国女队在丢掉团体冠军后,在单打、混双和女双项目上表现不错,而中国男队则一败涂地,在团体赛中仅获世界第七,在单项赛上也未赚回一些面子。和中国乒乓球队相比,中国羽毛球队表现稍好,尽管在苏迪曼杯团体赛上,中国队未能夺得团体冠军,但在单打上仍有较强的实力,可以说,中国羽毛球队
