大豆食心虫是属于鳞翅目小卷叶蛾科的昆虫,分布在我国的东北三省、河北、山东、山西、江苏、浙江、安徽、陕西、甘肃、内蒙古及宁夏等省区。我省凡有大豆种植的地方,都有不同程度的食心虫发生和为害。大豆食心虫是大豆生育后期的主要害虫,它喜欢湿润气候,食性单一,只为害大豆,一年发生一代发生期集中。成虫盛期仅7天左右,其蛾量占全年总蛾量的90％以上。在辽北平原,化蛹盛期为7月25日 Soybean moth worms are insects belonging to the family Lepidoptera.
