The humic acid coating is affected by the graphene-Fe 3 O 4 nanocomposite and has been shown to enhance the removal of arsenic from water. Earlier studies have shown that the negative effect of humic acid (ubiquitous in all natural water systems) is the removal of arsenic from natural water resources.
