申奥成功的喜讯,令国人振奋,几十万人自发地 涌向天安门广场,全国各地如痴如狂的欢呼庆 祝,既是内心喜悦之情的喷涌,也是一种自尊、自信、自强信念的真实流露。近代以来,中国人因为国家的积弱,所受的窝囊气实在太多,因此,每一个能令国人感到国家走向独立、走向富强,从而得到世界各国平等、友好相待与尊重的事件,都会备感兴奋与自豪。民族的自尊心、自信心、自豪感,是任何一个欲求自立于世界民族之林的民族都十分珍视的高尚的感情。它是自强的基石,奋进的动力。在庆祝申奥成功的欢呼声浪和焰火光影中,我们又一次感受到这种巨大力量的存在。
