内燃水泵有较高的理论热效率,可燃用多种固体燃料,提水费用低,在条件适宜的地区适于农田灌溉。为了充分发挥内燃泵的经济效益,在设计和应用中要坚持“大型、现代化”的方向。在理想循环分析中,以内燃泵特性系数B区分内燃泵与内燃机的异同,加深对内燃泵的认识。水珠飞溅严重影响内燃泵的效率,通过理论分析,找出了发生飞溅的原因及抑制方法。多点高能点火能有效地克服大型内燃泵存在的爆燃现象,改善了泵的可靠性。提出以“悬浮压力”这一概念,作为关键件换气隔板的重要设计参数。在内燃泵应用方面应注意综合利用及扬程选择等问题。
