音乐教育是全面贯彻素质教育不可缺少的一部分。中学音乐教育应该是培养学生高尚审美情操和健全人格的重要的直接途径。在音乐教学中贯彻新课标,就是要以音乐审美为核心,来设定教学目标;对音乐课本内容进行适当的整合和延伸,加入一些校本教材以及与现代音乐有关的内容;精心设计课堂,运用多种艺术手段,使学生获得审美愉悦;与其他学科相联系,开展丰富多彩的社团活动;采取新颖独特的考评方式等等。贯彻新课标的过程,也应该成为师生互动、教学相长的过程。
