行波管聚焦磁场轴向场的分布情况对聚焦电子注起着十分重要的作用。用一般的CT型高斯计手动测试只能测得周期场每个峰值的大小,要测周期场的分布曲线是很困难的。而且手动测试(?)时读数误差大,重复性差,速度慢。以周期场为例同一单元的峰值场在两次测试中,结果可以差5~20高斯。利用自动测试装置,可以迅速准确地测定各种聚焦磁场的轴向场分布,并可直接通过x-y记录得到分布曲线。它结构简单,易于制造,使用方便,测试迅速准确,重复性好,适合科研和生产中应用。
