我厂从79年5月起,开始大量使用钢屑、铁屑(以下称双屑)炼钢,一年来,共用双屑炼钢约600炉。以80年1~5月为例,炼钢361炉,配入双屑的243炉,占67%,用双屑435．67吨,占全部炉料(1129．93吨)的35．8%,节约废钢价值43567元。电耗由79年同期的 798度/吨,下降到现在的747度/吨,每吨钢下降51度。节电61710度。
From May, 79, our factory started to make extensive use of steel scrap and scrap iron (hereinafter referred to as “double shavings”) for steel making. In the past year, we shared about 600 furnaces with double chip dust steelmaking. For example, from January to May in 1980, 361 steelmaking furnaces were equipped with 243 furnaces with double shavings, accounting for 67%, 435.67 tons of double shavings, accounting for 35.8% of the total charge (1129.93 tons) Saving scrap value 43567 yuan.
