德国洗涤电器分为两大类:洗涤类和干燥类。洗涤类有两种:全自动卧式洗衣机和全自动立式洗衣机,洗涤容量通常为6公斤左右。干燥类也分两种:甩干机和烘干机。 进口洗衣机在德国颇受消费者欢迎,占有较大的市场份额。意大利独占鳌头,依旧保持最大供货商地位,而法国是高档洗衣机的主要货源国。两德的统一对洗衣机的需求起了一定的推波助澜作用,但增长速度已明显放慢。1993年家用洗涤电器的零售额近48亿马克,其中洗衣机占85%。德国家庭洗衣机拥有率甚高,约90%以上,而且大多数家庭乐意使用洗涤、烘干合一型,冷凝型烘干机颇受消费者青睐,而甩干机销量偏小。 专业批发商依然起着重要的作用,专业零售商行占家电销量的60%,百货商店和邮购商行占销量的28%。
