本文概括介绍了将由我国主持于1985年9月3日至6日在北京召开的“地震研究中的模糊数学方法国际学术讨论会”。会议的宗旨是为从事地震学、地震工程学以及模糊数学等方面研究的专家学者提供一个相互交流的机会,以交流模糊数学在地震预报、地震工程、震害估计和土木建筑等方面的实际应用经验和最新研究成果,介绍应用模糊数学的新方法,新技术,促进其在地震研究中的进一步应用。除东道国中国的代表外,将有美国、日本、意大利、新西兰、民主德国、西班牙、法国等国的代表应邀参加。本文介绍了会议的四个专题及其涉及的内容,以及四篇综合报告和50多篇论文题目。会议的大部分论文拟收入将由地震出版社出版发行的论文集。
This paper presents an overview of the International Symposium on Fuzzy Mathematics in Earthquake Research to be held in Beijing from September 3 to 6, 1985, hosted by China. The purpose of the conference is to provide an opportunity for experts and scholars engaged in seismology, earthquake engineering and fuzzy mathematics to exchange ideas on the practical application of fuzzy mathematics in earthquake prediction, earthquake engineering, earthquake damage assessment and civil engineering. Experience and latest research results, introducing new methods and new techniques of applying fuzzy mathematics to promote their further application in earthquake research. In addition to the representatives of the host country China, representatives of the United States, Japan, Italy, New Zealand, Democratic Germany, Spain, France and other countries will be invited to attend. This article presents the four topics of the conference and the topics covered, as well as four synthesis reports and over 50 papers. Most of the conference papers are intended to be collected in a collection of essays to be published by Earthquake Press.
