2007年,是中国现代漫画的先驱、现代中国画的大家、美术教育的一代宗师、卓有贡献的美术活动家叶浅予先生(1907——1995)诞辰100周年的日子。为了深刻缅怀这位成就卓著、影响深远的美术大师,由中华人民共和国文化部、中国文学艺术界联合会主办,中国美术馆、中央美术学院、中国国家画院、中国美术家协会、北京中博雅颂文化传媒、叶浅予艺术研究会承办的大型回顾展,于6月13日至19日在中国美术馆隆重举行。叶浅予先生1907年3月31日生于浙江桐庐,中小学期间摹习传统中国画,兼修西画写生。18岁赴
In 2007, it was the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Ye Qian Yu (1907-1995), pioneer of modern Chinese comics, modern Chinese painting, master of fine arts education, and outstanding art activist. In order to profoundly cherish the memory of this outstanding and far-reaching master of arts, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China and the Federation of Chinese Literary and Art Circles, the China National Art Museum, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the China National Academy of Painting, the Chinese Artists Association, Cultural Media, a large retrospective exhibition hosted by Ye Qian Yu Art Research Society, was held ceremoniously at the China Art Museum from June 13 to June 19.
