万国储蓄会是一家储蓄银行,1912年9月5日由旅沪西人法诺、盘滕、麦地等人发起开办。总部设在上海,分支机构遍及全中国,业务发展非常顺利。1934年鼎盛时期,储蓄总款占全国储蓄的五分之一多。吸收到这些资金,除了做债券、外汇等生意外,并从事房地产投资、买卖、抵押等业务。万国储蓄会在上海所拥有的公寓中诺曼第、毕卡第、戤司康等,都是当时法租界最著名的高楼大厦。也是上海建筑史上,公寓建筑的典型,而诺曼第公寓是其中最早建造的公寓。今名武康大楼,为上海近代优秀保护建筑。
