据统计,互联网目前已成为人类社会最重要的信息基础设施,占人类信息交流的80%.对社会进步、经济发展和国家安全具有重大战略意义.但是,30多年前发明的互联网技术不可能永远满足它的发展和支持新的应用.互联网存在的主要技术挑战是:扩展性、安全性、高性能、及时性、移动性和易管理等.目前研究表明,已经很难在目前的IPv4互联网上解决互联网存在的重大技术挑战.IPv6新一代互联网为解决互联网面临的重要技术挑战和开发新的应用搭建了一个崭新平台.
According to statistics, the Internet has become the most important information infrastructure in human society at present, accounting for 80% of the exchange of human information, which is of great strategic significance to social progress, economic development and national security. However, the Internet technology invented more than 30 years ago can not be forever To meet its development and support for new applications.The main technical challenges of the Internet are: scalability, security, high performance, timeliness, mobility and easy management, etc. The current research shows that it has been difficult on the current IPv4 Internet Addressing the major technical challenges of the Internet, the new generation of the Internet IPv6 (IPv6) sets a new platform for addressing key technology challenges and developing new applications on the Internet.
