Whether there is a branch of the Kuroshio source entering the South China Sea is an important issue that has not been affirmed for a long time. According to our marine survey from 1958 to 1960, our country scholar pointed out that the open sea water in the northeastern South China Sea originated from the Pacific Ocean, which was further denatured after the Pacific water mass entered the South China Sea, and the Kuroshio Branch was found in February-December and December. Signs of reaching the eastern coast of Guangdong. Zhu Zuyou further pointed out: During the winter, a branch of the Kuroshio enters the South China Sea through the Bus Strait and joins with the southwestern superficial currents produced by the prevailing northeast monsoon. When the summer monsoon prevails in the South China Sea, the Kuroshio tributary and the surface layer of the southwest monsoon The meeting converged and flowed into the Taiwan Strait to the northeast. This is by far the affirmative opinion on the Kuroshio branch entering the South China Sea. Recently, Huang Qi Zhou pointed out that there are indeed Kuroshio tributaries entering the South China Sea through the Bus Strait.
