Words come when they are needed. Words are cast by people who want to discuss certain new objects, thoughts, feelings, processes or fields of study that have not previously been known or are not yet named. At the moment, there are more scientific and technical terms (roughly 3,000 a year) compiled into the English vocabulary than those compiled elsewhere because science and technology are some of the rapidly evolving field of lexics. For example, anyone reading geological literature often encounters certain new words. Due to the progress of modern science, it will often be the case in the future, and the history of the proper vocabulary can be traced back to identify some of the geological concepts from a historical perspective.
