积极开展林木良种的选育工作——全国林木优良品种科研协作会在南平召开

木材是我国社会主义建设的重要物资。选育优良树种,促进林木的速生、丰产、优质,加速林业生产的步伐,对发展国民经济有着重大意义。中国农林科学院根据全国农林科技座谈会制定的1972年重大协作项目:“选择和培育速生用材树种的优良品种”的研究任务,于1972年10月16日至27日在福建省南平市召开了全国林木优良品种科研协作会议。参加这次会议的有来自全国27个省、市、自治区林业生产、科研、教学等部门的代表,共170余人。会议以路线斗争为纲,分析了我国林业生产和科研战线的大好形势,认真总结和交流了林木良种工作的经验,用大量的事实阐明了林木良种工作的重要性,提高了进一步搞好林木良种工作的决心,制订了“选择和培育速生用材树种的优良品种”的协作计划。 Timber is an important material for socialist construction in our country.
