问题与思考成都东部新区的开发不仅需要立足于成都城市本土的发展现状,而且更应从中国及全球目前城市发展方向的状况来高瞻远瞩。所有城市发展中的问题与解决对策,都归纳到可持续发展的大概念下。此大概念不仅仅是生态环境、绿化多少的问题,它还涵盖了环境、经济与社会三方面,是一个综合性的可持续发展问题。环境问题1：依赖机动车交通引起的温室效应,低效与不方便。原因：工作,居住,购物及休闲娱乐由于分区过大而分离。解决方法：在步行距离内解决居住,工作,购物及休闲娱乐,即减小分区的大小。
Problems and Considerations The development of the new eastern district of Chengdu not only needs to be based on the development status of the urban area of Chengdu, but also be far-sighted from the current urban development direction in China and the world. All urban development problems and solutions, are summarized under the concept of sustainable development. Reason: Work, residence, shopping and entertainment are separated because of the large area. Solution: Resolve living, working, shopping and entertainment within walking distance, ie reduce the size of the partition.
