早在今年年初匈牙利科學院决定在今年秋間召開一個氣象會議,以討論有關長期天氣预報(包括中期天氣預報)的問題,並邀請各國參加。中國科學院接到邀請後决定派遣代表(由中央氣象局副局長張乃召同志率領)參加。這是解放後我國第一次派遣代表出席國際性的氣象學術會議。
As early as the beginning of this year, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences decided to hold a meteorological conference in the autumn of this autumn to discuss the long-term weather forecast (including medium-term weather forecast) and invited all countries to participate. After receiving the invitation, Chinese Academy of Sciences decided to send representatives (led by Zhang Naizhao, deputy director general of the Central Meteorological Administration).
