为在世纪之交达到将信息服务推向更高层次、实现向市场过渡的目标,经上级批准,《影视技术》与《影视播放技术》将于1999年1月合刊。合刊后的刊名将延用《影视技术》。合刊是改革的需要,亦为我们进一步办好刊物提供了新的机遇,赋予了新的起点。这个新的机遇,就是促使合刊后的新《影视技术》加快实现“三个立足与三个面向”:其一是“立足电影技术,面向视频与播放技术”。刊物将突出反映电影声画信息由以胶片为记录与传播载体向多载体、多渠道记录与传播转变的这一必然趋势。换言之,将重点展示视频技术、数字技术以及其它相关的外延技术在电影领域的应用。其二是“立足老读者,面向新读者”。刊物将真正面向行业、面向实际、面向读者。老读者是刊物赖以生存的根基,我们不会忘记数十年来所给予的鼎力支持。新读者是刊
In order to reach the goal of pushing information services to a higher level and realizing the transition to the market at the turn of the century, with the approval of the higher authorities, “film and television technology” and “film and television broadcasting technologies” will be jointly published in January 1999.
