近几年来,我市常年性菜地土壤酸化日趋严重.据1982年土壤普查结果,适于蔬菜生长的pH值6.0~7.0范围的莱地仅占32.0%;而pH4.5~5.5范围的强酸性菜地占33.6%,pH小于4.5呈极强酸性菜地占2.5%.菜园土壤的酸化是土壤老朽化的特征之一,它影响土壤肥力的发挥,对耐酸性差的蔬菜生长极为不利.为探索强酸性菜地施用石灰对改良土壤和提高蔬菜产量的效果,1982~1983年进行了试验,获得以下初步结果.
