中国科协于z001年5月23日至24日在北京科技会堂举办了“科技期刊改革与发展研讨会”。来自隶属中国科协的部分学会负责人以及理、工、农、医等各学科期刊编辑部的代表200余人参加了会议。会议由中国科协学会部部长马阳主持,中国科协党组成员、书记处书记常志海讲话,他指出:此次研讨会的目的是分析当前科技期刊面临的新情况与问题,研究如何加速改革发展的步伐,并希望代表们相互交流,畅所欲言,统一认识,提高办刊水平。他就认识办好科技期刊的重要意义;办好重点科技期刊,使部分期刊率先走向世界;突破
China Association for Science and Technology held a Seminar on Reform and Development of Scientific and Technological Periodicals in Beijing Science and Technology Hall from May 23 to May 24, More than 200 representatives from the heads of some societies affiliated to the China Association for Science and Technology and the editorial departments of science, engineering, agriculture and medicine participated in the conference. The meeting was chaired by Ma Yang, minister of China Association for Science and Technology Association, and Chang Zhihai, member of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology and a secretary of the Secretariat. He pointed out: The purpose of this symposium is to analyze the new situations and problems confronting the current science and technology journals and to study how to speed up Reform and development of the pace, and hope that delegates mutual exchanges, speak their minds, unify their understanding and improve the level of running.
