1992年6月,国家教委颁发了《九年制义务教育全日制初级中学地理教学大纲》,(以下简称“新大纲”)。新大纲是以国家教委1988年11月颁发的该大纲初审稿为基础,经过三年多时间,根据初审稿编写了实验教材,在全国28个省、市、自治区几百所中学进行实验后,总结经验,征求教师、学生、家长、专家和教研人员的意见,结合国内外近年来形势的发展变化,国家教委对义务教育全日制初级中学课程计划的修订,以及对历史、地理等学科加强德育教育和国情教育的指示,加以修订而成。最后,经过全国中小学教材审定委员会地理学科审查委员会审查通过,将于1993年秋季开始,在全国全日制初级中学
In June 1992, the State Education Commission issued the “Syllabus for the Geography Teaching of a Whole-day Junior High School for Nine-year Compulsory Education” (hereinafter referred to as the “new outline”). The new outline is based on the preliminary review issued by the State Education Commission in November 1988. After more than three years, experimental textbooks were prepared based on the preliminary review and experiments were conducted in hundreds of secondary schools in 28 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. Afterwards, we sum up experiences, solicit the opinions of teachers, students, parents, experts, and teaching and research personnel, and combine the changes in the situation in recent years at home and abroad. The State Education Commission revised the curriculum plan of compulsory junior high school for full-time education, and also studied history and geography. Strengthen the instruction of moral education and national conditions education and revise it. Finally, after passing the review of the Geography Examination Committee of the National Examination and Approval Committee for Primary and Secondary School Textbooks, it will begin in the fall of 1993 and be used as a full-time junior secondary school nationwide.
