下辽河盆地西部凹陷西斜坡上的渐新统沙河街组第三段(以下简称沙三)是一套以砂泥互层为主的旋回性碎屑沉积。通过野外和室内的分析研究,进一步肯定了这套沉积属于河流一三角洲相。本文试图初步总结该三角洲体系的沉积特征,沉积序列和发育特征。一、沉积环境的主要标志1.原生沉积构造及其序列原生沉积构造是沉积岩的重要特征之一。它们是在沉积物沉积时至固结成岩之前所形成的沉积构造。根据岩心观察,本区沙三段三角洲沉积的原生沉积构造按成因和形态可划分如下:
