This paper introduces the basic concept, principle and classification method of isotropic block, expounds the geological significance of various indices and the evaluation method of index, and uses block index method to analyze the comprehensive mining geology of coal seam No. 14-2 in Meiyukou Mine Conditions were predicted and evaluated.
