A report recently released by the University of California at California State University said that global warming will lead to a decrease in the oxygen content of the ocean and will have a negative impact on marine life. The report said that the warming of the global climate led to the temperature difference between the surface water and the deep water increased, which will slow down the surface water and deep sea water mixing and circulation, to a certain extent, affect the oxygen supply to the deep sea. The report believes that if the global climate continues to heat up in the next 50 years, the oxygen in the ocean will be further reduced, which will have a negative impact on deep-sea creatures. Currently, the tropical Pacific East and the northern Indian Ocean are more affected by the global warming.
