December 14, 2010, “National Outstanding Sci-Tech Workers ” Awards Conference was held in Beijing Great Hall of the People. Wang Zhaoguo, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, Wang Qiguo, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, Han Qide, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and Minister of Science and Technology attended the meeting. China Science and Technology Association executive vice chairman, secretary of First Secretary Deng Nan presided over the awards ceremony. This year marks the revision and improvement of the “Measures for Commendation and Selection of National Excellent Scientists and Workers” by China Association for Science and Technology
