The construction of the chimney using sliding mode shows more advantages in terms of quality and progress, avoiding the heavy and dangerous work-at-height that is necessary for the erection of the vertical mast, creating a new way for the mechanization of the chimney construction and increasing the labor productivity. However, there are also three prominent technical problems: 1 the torsion of the sliding mode structure; 2 the horizontal drift of the sliding mode platform; 3 the sliding mode platform slips out of sync. These three problems affect the accuracy of the geometry of the chimney and the quality of the concrete, and at the same time seriously affect the construction progress of the sliding mode, so that the potential economic benefits of the sliding mode process do not play a role.
