英语是小学生开始接触的第一种外国语言,小学英语的学习对小学生今后的发展具有重要的现实意义。自新课改以来,新课标的理念不断渗透,渐渐为广大教育工作者所接受和推崇,尤其近年来,教育界广泛推崇生本教育思想。英语作为一种语言,其学习的最终目的是增强学生的交流能力,促进人与人、国与国之间的交往和沟通,换言之,英语学习的目标就是理解语言,从而提高表达能力,因此,英语阅读在英语学习中占有举足轻重的地位。新课标对学生的英语阅读能力提出了较高的要求,这就要求教师在教学中讲究一定的方式方法,融入生本教育思想,提高学生的阅读能力。本文就坚持生本教育思想,拓展小学英语课外阅读空间进行简单探究。 English is the first foreign language that primary school pupils begin to contact with.
