从2012年10月1日开馆试展以来,来自各国各界业内的圈外的专业的、非专业的人士都给予了上海当代艺术博物馆高度一致的认可和赞美,以及一些友善的意见和建议。现摘录部分反馈如下:1.关于建设上海当代艺术博物馆的决策Henk Slager(荷兰乌特勒支视觉艺术及设计研究生院院长)和Jonathan Watkins(英国伯明翰IKON美术馆馆长),分别是2008年和2006年上海双年展的策展人,他们对上海当代艺术博物馆的建设都表示出了高度的赞赏和强烈的羡慕之情。因为当初他们所参与策划的两届双年展都是在上海美术馆老馆举行,老馆的空间无论在尺度上还是在使用上都有很大的局限性。
