唐代的商业是很繁荣的.造成这样繁荣的基础是什么?这是唐史研究上的一个重要问题。正确地解决这个问题,对了解唐代商业的特点和作用,具有重要的意义.李文海同志在“唐代的商业与商品生产”一文中,提出了自己的看法(见“历史教学”1956年第四期),我们认为有些地方是值得商榷的.李文海同志认为“唐代商业繁荣的基础不是商品生产的高度发展”。为了说明这个论点,他极力强调专卖品与一般商品的区别;认为市场上的商品,主要是奢侈品;有时竟然说还没有看到有关大作坊的史料。一、李文海同志认为封建王朝直接控制的商品生产(如盐、铁、茶)“与一般商品生产有着很大的不同。因为这种生产之得以进行,以及这种生产之所以有垄断的市场,都是封建经济的上层建筑发挥作用的
The business of the Tang Dynasty was very prosperous.What is the basis of such prosperity? This is an important issue in the study of the history of the Tang Dynasty.
