HMG400 Water Gun: Improving Power and Resolution JPFail, Institut Francars du Petrole, France (S1.1) The French Petroleum Institute has selected the HWG400 hydraulic water gun for R / V Resolution boat use. This article gives a description of the use of such a water gun, characteristic signals and spectra. A 16-gun hydraulic unit (656 kW power) has a 6 second launch interval and a pulse amplitude of 120 bar-meters (p-p, 0-25 Hz).
