Scientific and technological cooperation is an important part of China-Africa comprehensive friendly cooperation. Since the opening of diplomatic relations between New China and African countries over the past 50 years, the content of Sino-African friendly cooperation has gradually expanded from political and economic cooperation to cooperation in such fields as culture, education, science and technology and health.
